Cloverleaf Farm has had many generations walk through the house and fields. Our Farm has a long and rich history, and we are proud to be a part of it.

The farm stand and gift shop was built around 1790. The barn was built in the early 1800’s. The main house was built in 1822. In the early years, it was a hay farm, and over the years it has grown and changed to serve the needs of the community.

Our farm stand has a history of Yankee entrepreneurship.

• For the period of WWI it served as a tack and leather shop.
• Throughout the 1930’s and 1940’s our barn served as a local summer theater.
• During the 1950’s it became an upholstery shop.
• It later served as local bean supper meeting place. (That would explain the old 3-seater outhouse).

In season (June – Oct.), our focus is organic heirloom vegetables. We sell both here at our farm stand, as well as at local farmers markets. In addition to our organic heirloom produce, we also have free range organic eggs. We sell frozen whole organic chicken by the pound.

In our gift shop, you can purchase herbs from our garden, as well as herbs from all over the world. We specialize in herbal alternative medicine, and we have a clinical herbalist on the premises at all times to help in choosing the right herb for your needs. She is also available for private consultations by appointment. We have a lovely selection of aromatherapy items that are made right here on the farm.

Cloverleaf Farm creates our own line of herbal body care products. Salves, ointments, balms, potpourris and other medicinal herbal merchandise. Each product is made in small batches to ensure freshness and optimal healing benefits. We use only natural and organic ingredients in all our products. No chemical preservatives ever. We prepare our own herbal body care products and plant medicines from ethically wild crafted herbs, our own garden, or certified organically grown plants from reputable suppliers when necessary.
